It’s here; an elevated dining experience in the heart of downtown Bargersville. Up Cellar, a speakeasy-style steakhouse, wine bar and cocktail lounge will open on Wednesday, May 3rd. The hidden restaurant is located directly above the Cellar’s Market Bakery & Bottle Shop, accessible only through an entrance off the lobby of sister restaurant Pizza & Libations. To locate Up Cellar's entry, guests will enter through Pizza & Libations, take the second glass door to the right and ascend the dimly lit stairs to the 'Drink Up' neon sign. The intimate lounge seats 74 guests with additional seating for 30 on the rooftop terrace. The Up Cellar experience is reserved for patrons 21 and older and reservations are highly recommended, Dinner service will run from 5pm to 11pm Wednesday thru Sunday.
“In line with our other restaurants, we will focus on farm-to-table food highlighting local Indiana farms and artisanal purveyors.” said CEO Nathan Huelsebusch. The culinary team is committed to sourcing as locally as possible, highlighting the very best purveyors and farms in our region. Included in that list are Black Hawk Farms, Capriole Creamery, Fischer Farms, Heirloom Acres, Viking Lamb Farm and more. The dinner menu will feature dry-aged and American waygu steak, sustainably-sourced seafood, and other pastured raised proteins.
Award-winning seasonal cocktails and a thoughtfully curated wine menu will round out the elevated experience. A robust wine cellar will feature globally inspired new world and old world wines, with a seasonally rotating list of by-the-glass offerings. The innovative mixology team promises an inspiring selection of seasonal cocktails highlighting modern techniques on classic cocktails.
